The town of Sittingbourne, with its recently modernised paved High Street and rich history has a lot to offer those seeking to relocate in the area. Besides its medieval roots and Kentish traditional architecture, its later sailing barge and paper making past are still very much in evidence, and stand as a testiment to the area's role in the growth of Brittish industry.
Sittingbourne High Street offers a wide variety of shops and the provision of ample parking makes shooping there a pleasure. There are restaurants and pubs in the town centre which encourage families and younger visitors and Sittingbourne has a market which takes place every Friday.
