The Walnut Tree, which has been a pub since 1796, is a cosy country pub, with an inglenook fireplace and many exposed beams. The pub has lots of character, with a small restaurant serving excellent traditional food, using mainly local produce. Bar snacks are also available.
The Walnut Tree was Shepherd Neame Community Pub of the Year in 2004. It is open all day from 12 noon and serves food lunchtimes and some evenings.
There are regular quiz nights, live music and other special events are held throughout the year.
There is a large car park and fantastic garden, in which barbecues are held throughout the summer.
