KINGS HEAD, SHADOXHURST

The parish of Shadoxhurst dates back 700 years and, if proof were needed, the parish church has lancet windows of the 13th century. The many footpaths and woods around the area offer plenty of interesting walks.

Situated between Ashford and Tenterden, the King's Head is a deceptively spacious typical country pub with an olde worlde charm, which caters for the local community as well as visitors with its comfortable bars and superb restaurant.
