HOOK AND HATCHET, HUCKING

The Hook and Hatchet has been a Public House for 107 years and is set in the 600 acre Hucking Estate high up on the North Downs - an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Jackson family applied for a licence early in the 19th century and were granted a 6 day "Beer and Cider only" licence. Mrs Jackson had been preparing packed lunches for the farm workers for many years prior to this.

The pub is open all day every day from midday serving good pub food at lunchtimes and an a la carte menu in the evenings. A good selection of Shepherd Neame's fine real ales are also available, as is an excellent wine list.

There is a stunning garden and patio which are perfect for al fresco eating and drinking and complete this beautiful pub in the most beatiful of settings.
