Castle InnOne of the most famous and evocative locations in Britain - and the castle isn't bad either! The Castle Inn is an historic hostelry situated beside Bodiam Castle (National Trust).

We pride ourselves on the home-cooked meals, using local produce whenever possible, served in the restaurant. And there's a delightful river terrace in the garden.

The pub is a few hundred yards away from the newly-opened Bodiam Station, with links via vintage Kent & East Sussex Railway steam trains from Tenterden and Northiam. There are also boat trips available on the river and the area is very popular with walkers.

Bodiam Castle opposite is a fine example of a moated castle. It was built both for defence and accommodation in 1385. A museum is located by the reception centre.
