The Granville has carved out an excellent reputation for serving modern European food of the highest quality and is featured in The Good Food Guide and other major listings.
Licensee Gabrielle Harris and chef Jim Shave use the same local producers as Gabrielle’s brothers at the Michelin-starred Sportsman, Seasalter, as well as fresh produce grown by Jim on his allotment.
The Granville is full of character and is divided into a comfortable sofa area, a bar area and an eating area, with a central fireplace and original artwork on display for sale. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a patio area, where up to 40 customers can dine in the open air.
The bar serves traditional Kentish cask ale and distinctive international lagers and offers a good selection of wine by the glass.
