TENANCY APPLICATION PROCESS
Firstly may we say the we are delighted that you wish to consider taking a tenancy with Shepherd Neame and look forward to working with you. Please see below the application process.
Ensure that your address details are registered with Linda Reece on the monthly tenancy mailing list by downloading and completing a Tenancy Initial Contact Form (please note that details can also be viewed via our website at any time).
Make a discreet viewing of any properties that you feel may be suitable.
Contact Linda Reece in order to receive the current letting details for the properties that are still of interest to you and to check their current status and availability.
Arrange a formal viewing of the trade area of the property by contacting the CURRENT TENANT OR HOLDING MANAGER ONLY (unless stated otherwise on the letting details).
Contact Linda Reece to obtain an application form which should be completed and returned in respect of the specific tenancy that you are interested in. If you are interested in having a meeting to discuss our tenancies in general then please arrange with Linda Reece at this time.
Once this has been received the Business Development Manager will contact you accordingly when he is ready to start the interview process and will arrange an initial meeting with you in order to discuss your suitability for the pub.
Following this if you have been successful you will be invited to attend a further interview with our Property Director, at which stage you will be asked to present your business and financial plans for the pub. At this point you will also be able to arrange a viewing of the private accommodation.
Following these interviews we will normally make an offer to the successful applicant, and following their acceptance we will then arrange a further meeting to sign all the relevant paperwork.
If you have unfortunately been unsuccessful on this occasion we hope that you will wish to apply for another pub and we will retain your details on the monthly mailing list (please note that we are able to transfer your original application form to other pubs).
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE LICENSING ACT 2003 ALL LICENSEES MUST NOW HOLD A PERSONAL LICENCE. PROOF OF YOUR LICENCE WILL BE REQUIRED AT APPLICATION STAGE.
