Case History

Bruno Mahsoudi, Manager - Spanish Galleon, Greenwich

Originally from Belgium, Bruno's career started out in the oil industry working mainly in Southern America. A change of life style bought him to London where he worked in a number of restaurant operations. He joined Shepherd Neame in December 2001 as a member of staff at the Bishops Finger in Smithfield.

He was identified by both his Manager & his District Manager as having 'potential' to be a future manager and so a Training and Development programme was constructed to aid his development. In August 2002 Bruno was promoted to the position of Assistant Manager ath the Bishops Finger. Bruno worked closely with his Manager conducting a number of relief's in the London area and continued to attend a number of company training courses ensuring his personal development enabled him to progress.

His progress has left a lasting impression with everybody that has met him and in January 2003 he was appointed Manager of the newly aquired Bloomsbury Tavern in Shaftsbury Avenue, London, followed by a move to The Spanish Galleon in Greenwich in July 2004.
