LONDON VICTORIA – FAVERSHAM
The train will steam out of London Victoria at 9.00am*, calling at Bromley South before heading to the Medway Towns. The train will then follow the route of the very first trains to Faversham which ran from Chatham in 1858. Arrival in Faversham is expected at around 11.00am*. Here, there will be plenty of time for passengers to savour the distinctive sights, sounds and tastes of the Hop Festival before rejoining the train for the return trip to London.
The return journey includes a scenic tour of Kent via Canterbury, Ashford and Tonbridge; giving our express engine a chance to stretch its legs on the mainline through the county. Arrival back at Victoria is expected to be at around 8.30pm*.
Adult return fares include a free bottle of Shepherd Neame ale for passengers aged 18+.
