A weekend celebrating the diversity of locally-produced food and drink with special events and displays at the Brewery and throughout the town – special prices and separate charges apply for some activities.
FAVERSHAM HOP FESTIVAL – Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st August
This popular, lively festival recalls the traditional celebrations associated with the hop harvest – when an army of hop pickers would leave London for a working holiday in Kent. As well as street entertainers, musical acts on two stages, Morris dancers and vintage Shepherd Neame vehicles, there’s at host of activities at the Brewery and in Shepherd Neame pubs throughout the town. AUTUMN BEER & FOOD EVENING – Friday 26th September
Take a guided tour of the Shepherd Neame Brewery and see how award-winning ales and speciality lagers are brewed, then savour a superb four-course “Beer Dinner” – freshly prepared with local ingredients. Each course is matched by a specially-selected beer whose flavours complement the food.
